Meet Brian Robinson, the Public Safety Ambassador Manager who’s been with CapMetro since 2021.
Brian held a career in law enforcement serving APD, but hoped to continue working after retirement. That’s when a former colleague and current CapMetro employee encouraged him to apply for a position in the newly formed Public Safety program. “I thought it was a great fit. And I wanted to be a pioneer of this new three-pronged system at CapMetro,” Robinson said.
Brian has played a pivotal role in shaping our Public Safety program, ensuring the PSA team fosters strong collaboration with internal and external partners while providing necessary resources and guidance for their success.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Brian stays active by enjoying a range of outdoor activities. During the summer, he’s out on the water jet skiing, paddleboarding or at Barton Springs. When it’s cold, he’s trekking through the woods hunting.
A tip from Brian based on his years in law enforcement: “Don’t get caught up in routines. Be aware of your surroundings. Don’t be predictable.”
